DESCRIPTION:
French, Brass Cased Carriage clock, large, over 10 inches tall, retailed by Folkard & Son, Brighton, and in a 4-column Anglaise style case, 8-day time and gong strike.
CONDITION:
although the platform was replaced around 1980 with a good Swiss unit, the clock is otherwise in excellent original condition, with nice frosty gilding over the entire case -- only minor wear. The silvered dial with very minor discoloration. Elegant case has reeded corner columns with Corinthian capitals. Ht 10.1"
